21 year navy vet saying thanks to fellow vets.

Tomorrow is Veterans Day. I would like to take this opportunity to offer my humble thanks to all veterans who served to preserve the freedoms we all enjoy in America today.
Also I would like to express my gratitude to the family members of vets who have had to sit at home worrying about their love ones who were in harms way. They also served their country.
I would especially like to say thanks to my two sons who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I wonder what Obama's Justice Department would do if a group of cops formed an organization that was named Cops Lives Matter, and they marched down the street of a major American city chanting: Thugs in a blanket, fry em like bacon. Would that be free speech, or would  it be considered terroristic threats against a protected group? I bet that they would all lose their jobs, and be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

DNC issues a statement of endorsement to Black Lives Matter hate group

Recently the DNC issue a statement of endorsement for the Black Lives Matter movement. The Black Lives Matter Group rejected the endorsement, but it does show where the Democratic Party falls when it comes to the idea that cops lives matter. In the past this hate group has chanted, " what do we want - dead cops; when do we want it - now.'' Last Saturday the group marched in St Paul Minnesota and chanted, " pigs in a blanket, fry em like bacon.''

I don't know what other people might think, but it seems to me that the Democratic Party is willing to stand shoulder to shoulder with a hate group that is encouraging the assassination of police officers.

Criminal Shouldn't Benifit from Their Crimes

Democrats and liberals often refer to illegal aliens as immigrants. Nothing could be further from the truth. Illegal aliens are criminals who entered our country in violation of our laws. In most other countries they would be imprisoned for such an offense. Immigrants are those people who came to America legally, obeyed all of our immigration laws, paid fees, and took a test.

So my question is: If a woman crosses our border and enters this country illegally, and then has a baby; just how in the hell could that baby receive birth right citizenship when the mother is committing a crime by being in America? Both the mother and the baby benefit from the mother's crime, and both should be deported.

Typical Democrats

Bill and Hillary doing what Democrats do best - being jackasses.

Today I found a Black Rat Snake in my chicken pen. I started to kill it, but then I thought about what mankind really owed to snakedom. After all, It was a snake that entered the Garden of Eden and enticed Eve to eat the apple. After she  ate the apple, she and Adam realized that they were naked: That led to sex, and sex led to all of us being here. Personally, I feel that I owe a debt of gratitude to this lowly creature, and for that reason I spared his life. I know he'll just go back to eating my eggs, but I guess that's a small price to pay considering that it was his kind that led to the beginning of mankind.

Donald Trump is Right on Immigration Reform.

Love him or hate him, one thing Donald Trump is absolutely right about is sending undocumented aliens back to their home countries. It is simply impossible to document anyone who doesn't have papers proving who they are. At best you are providing them with amnesty and a new identity. Considering that many illegals are criminals, gang members, and cartel gangster, only a Democrat could believe that giving them legal status without documentation is a good idea.

Marco Rubio is Starting to Sound More Like a Democrat than a Republican

Last night Marco Rubio was on the Fox News show The Kelly File. The interviewer, Shannon Bream, asked Rubio about The Black Lives Matter movement. His answer was that he thought there was a big problem in America concerning how blacks were treated. He went on to say that he had a black friend that had been stopped by police eight or nine times in recent months, indicating that most cops are racist.

If Rubio had been honest he would have said that the majority of crime in the United States happens in poor black neighborhoods, and that most of the offenders are black. Cops that are proactive have a tendency to patrol in high crime areas and do traffic stops on those they think might be law breakers. Without the cops doing this, crime in those areas would be even worse. Cops spend less time in white areas because non Hispanic whites commit less than 10% of the violent crimes in America. That explains why blacks are stop  at a higher rate than whites.

He also stated that he thought too many black youths were incarcerated without just cause, and that some type of amnesty was needed for these youthful offenders, so their lives wouldn't be affected later on.

If Rubio has evidence that racist cops are arresting young blacks on unsubstantiated charges then he should report it to the justice  department. That's against the law. Young blacks that are committing crimes should be arrested and sent to jail just like anyone else. If they are given a pass, like Rubio is suggesting, it will only make  them believe  that they are above the law.

The Black Lives Matter movement is a far left anarchist hate group funded by George Soros, and the far left wing of the Democratic Party. It preaches that all whites are racist, all cops are racist, and that only black lives matter. The fact that Rubio would not condemn this hate group indicates to me that he is on the wrong track and does not understand what is really wrong in our black communities.

The Truth and Ms. Clinton

The truth does not change no matter how many times a lie is told. In the end the truth will prevail, and the liars will suffer the consequences. Take heed Ms. Clinton, your chickens are about to come home to roost.

Murdered Chattanooga Marines may not be Eligible for Purple Hearts.

I served in the Navy, but I have always admired the Marine Corp as the premier fighting force of our country. For that reason, I am not surprise to hear that the investigation into the terrorist attack in Chattanooga indicated that the marines who died there stood their ground, and saved the lives of others by their actions.

Now, the Obama administration has said that these brave Marines will not receive Purple Hearts, unless it is proven that the attack was inspired by a foreign terrorist group.

In other words, the Obama Administration believes this attack was the action of  a lone wolf, with no ties to any overseas Islamic terrorist organization. That sounds very much like what the government did to the soldiers who were killed and injured by Major Hasan at Fort Hood.

If Obama does not immediately  award the Purple Heart posthumously to these heroes, Congress should take up the matter and change the  requirements on who can and can not receive this honor.

Those Marines died fighting for their country and their families deserve all of the benefits that should come from their sacrifices.

The Second Amendment

In 1791 Congress adopted the Bill of Rights. In this legislation was the Second Amendment, which protected the rights of all Americans to bear arms. The primary reason for the Second Amendment was so the states could maintain a well regulated militia. Each American was expected to defend his country and his state against any enemy, local or foreign, that posed a threat. This included our own government if it ever became tyrannical. Today that expectation still exist. Until recently, nationalized citizens were required to swear an oath that they would defend America against all enemies. Obama has changed that.

Obama recently stated that his biggest frustration is that he has not been able to take away our right to bear arms.

Just before the beginning of the revolutionary war the British did exactly that. They took away the right of the colonist to bear arms in an attempt to made them helpless in the face of  a tyrannical British government.

Today, Obama is attempting to do the exact same thing. Once we are disarmed and helpless, the government will have complete control over the people, and we will be at their mercy, just as were the colonist to a tyrannical British government. Either we standup to Obama and his dictator style administration, or we are all in threat of losing our freedoms.

Obama's message to troops.

Obama's message to our troops is, wear civvies, not guns. Now, just how in  hell are civvies going to protect them against terrorist. Next he'll be telling them to stay in their barracks, and not leave their bases.

My motto has always been, "no better friend, no worse enemy." Fortunately, I have never had an enemy, just friends who didn't realize they were still my friends.

Monday, July 20, 2015

" In an empire of lies the truth is treason." All of us now live in an empire of lies, and  we are all scared to tell  the truth, because the truth could cost us our livelihoods, our friends, or even our life. I for one, am tried of tiptoeing around the truth, and I can't wait for others to start feeling the same way.

Three days after the slaughter of four marines and one sailor by a scumbag Islamist terrorist, and President Obama has still not honored their sacrifice by lowering our flag to half mast. Something stinks in Washington D.C., and it smells like a bunch of polecat democrats.

Saturday, July 18, 2015

Today I read a post that read as follows,'' One armed "hero" is one step away from being a mass murderer." That started me thinking that if there had been one armed hero in Chattanooga Tn, the mass murder of four marines and one sailor could have been prevented. The very idea that military installations should be gun free zones is ludicrous, especially when terrorist have stated their intention to kill military personnel. Now is the time to change the 1993 law put in place by Bill Clinton banning guns on military bases. Please support the Republican politicians trying to reverse this stupid law.

No Outrage from Obama

After Michael Brown's death in Fergerson Mo., President Obama expressed outrage at racist law enforcement agencies across America, who he said were killing  blacks just because of their skin color.  Now that four marines have been killed in Chattanooga Tn., I would expect him to display the same amount of  outrage toward extremist Muslim terrorist.
Unfortunately, Obama is not even willing to say that these brave marines were killed by a Muslim terrorist. It seems that the lives of criminals are more important to him than the lives of our military members, and that extremist Muslim terrorist are, in his eyes, a lesser threat than cops.

Obama Just Don't Get It.

The purpose of war is not to change the hearts and minds of your enemy, it is to change his breathing status. Somebody needs to explain that to President Obama.

Bad Nuclear Deal with Iran.

Sometimes people want something so badly that they are willing to sacrifice anything to get it. That's what has happened to President Obama. He wants a nuclear deal with Iran so badly that he is willing to give them everything they asked for, while America gets nothing in return.

In 1994, Bill Clinton did the same thing with North Korea. He made an agreement with that country that allowed  North Korea to obtain nuclear weapons.  The only difference between the agreement with North Korea and the agreement with Iran, is that Iran has promised to destroy not only Israel, but also America. It seems that Obama is willing to risk the demise of our country to insure his foreign policy legacy.

Da ja vu Nuclear Deal with Iran

In 1994 President Clinton sent Jimmy Carter to North Korea to beg that country not to develop nuclear weapons. At that time, North Korea was in the middle of a nation wide famine, and the government was on the verge of collapse. Carter, being the bleeding heart liberal that he is, decided that U.N. sanctions should be lifted for humanitarian reasons, and that tons of grain and heating oil should be sent to  North Korea by the U.S. Government to alleviate the famine.
Clinton and Carter, in their eagerness to get a deal with North Korea, threw all reasoning out of the window. So when North Korea balked at making a deal, Carter sweetened the pot by promising North Korea two nuclear reactors. In return, North Korea promised to stop trying to develop nuclear weapons. The U.S. would have to take the promise at face value, because North Korea would not allow unfettered access by inspectors to their nuclear sites. In 2002 North Korea admitted that it had cheated, and that with the help of Pakistan, had developed weapon grade uranium. Now North Korea is a direct nuclear threat to America, because Clinton and Carter were willing to make a bad nuclear deal with that country.
Today, President Obama, and Secretary of State John Kerry are willing to make the same type of bad deal with Iran. If Congress doesn't do something  it will be de ja vu all over again. Iran will become a nuclear threat to America, and they will do it with the help of the Obama administration.

The South Carolina Confederate Flag Removal.

Today the South Carolina  Governor, Nicky Haley, will sign a bill removing the Confederate Flag from the Capitol grounds in that state. I completely agree with the removal, because the flag was placed there in the sixties as a racist gesture protesting the Civil Rights Movement. It will be placed in a museum, and I also believe that is  appropriate.

What I don't agree with is that the flag itself is a symbol of hate. In the 50s, 60s, and 70s the Confederate flag was high jacked by the democratic party, and the clan to represent their hatred of blacks. Since then, the south has become a place that all of us can call home and be equal. This change happened because of the Republican Party, and the civil rights movement. I have always been a Republican, and I have always considered anyone that treated me with respect as a friend, regardless of color.

Another thing that I don't agree with, is digging up my ancestors, or destroying monuments that honors our past. Our history is sacred, whether we agree with it or not. And people who want to rewrite history are doing a disservice to our country.

For those who would like to ban the Confederate Flag,   I happen to have one tattooed on my arm. I didn't get the tattoo because I am a racist. I got it because I was a drunk 18 year old sailor in a foreign port and four other guys bet me that I wouldn't get tattooed. I chose the confederate flag because of my southern heritage. One of the guys with me that night was black.

The bottom line is, I will not only fight for equal opportunity for every American, but I will also fight to stop those who would disrespect who I am.

The Case Against Instituional Racism

Recently President Obama made the statement that there is widespread institutional racism against all minorities in America. Well, it just so happens that I am married to a minority. and her experiences in America is proof that institutional racism in America is a myth.

My wife comes from the Philippines. We were  married while I was stationed in that country. In 1984 I retired from the navy and we came to Louisville Ga. to start a new life. That's when my wife's real life adventure started in this great country of ours. In the Philippines, an education past the 6th grade was almost impossible, because of the cost. Now she was in the land of opportunity, and she couldn't wait to start taking advantage of those opportunities.

After getting settled, we went to Swainsboro Tech to see about getting her a GED. The administrative personnel at the school were wonderful. They completely understood that Claire came from a different culture, and everything was confusing and new to her. Actually it was confusing and new to me too, because I had been out of the country for so long.

After getting registered, Claire started her GED classes. Three nights a week I drove her to Swainsboro Tech. Myself and our two young sons would sit in the back of the class each night while Claire studied. And each night I would marvel at how caring and professional her two instructors were. They were white and I didn't see any hint of racism, whatsoever.

Also in the class were nine other students. All were minorities. Claire and four of the other students were very attentive in class. Another four were very inattentive and disruptive. At times they were even rude to the teachers. I later found out that these students were being paid by the government to attend class. Once they got their checks from the government, they were gone.

After about a year Claire took her GED test and passed. That enabled her to get a job at the nursing home in Wadley. The people that ran the nursing home were marvelous to her. They were white - no racism there. They arranged her schedule where she could go to night school. While working there Claire finished a nurses aide program, and EMT school.

Next she went to work at Rural Metro Ambulance service in Louisville Ga.. Her co-workers were white and black. Her supervisor was white. She experienced zero racism. Again, her supervisor arranged her schedule where she could go to night classes, and while working at Rural Metro, she completed Paramedic school.

Throughout my wife's life in America she has experienced no institutional racism. And from what I have observed, what is sometimes called institutional racism is just a matter of people not being willing to put out the effort to get what they want. They then complain about racism because there is no free ride in life. You Can't give a person an education., you have to work for it. You can't give people self respect or work ethics, that has to come from within.
