I have never asked life for forgiveness,
For life, by its nature, is incapable of such.
I have often asked a friend for forgiveness,
because I know my shortcomings are much.
In life and friendship one thing is for sure,
The way you treat them both will tell the tale,
Of how the world will remember your life's travail.
